Pattern Journal is an ongoing exploration of patterns: the hidden relational structures, processes, and dynamics that shape us, reality, and everything in it.

Each issue serves as a field guide for a single pattern.

Together, the patterns will form a kind of language that is practical and universally applicable to anyone doing anything anywhere.

The subject matter sits at a crossroads between science and spirit, abstraction and concreteness, rationality and intuition, chaos and order.

1. To cultivate a deeper literacy of the relational grammar of patterns

2. To help others see and understand the world from a new perspective

My hope is that this work will contribute to the great work of realizing a world of mutual interdependence, care, order, beauty and love.
